Sansevieria Masoniana - Whale Fin Snake Plant-Paddle Plant

$95.00

Quantity

PERMITTED INTO WA AS OF 16 APRIL 2019 YAY!

This is not your typical variety of snake plant, with leaves that are wider and more "paddle shaped" than your typical and more common snake plant, many consider this plant to also resemble a whale fin in appearance.

Very difficult to source, this one is for the collector. Please note that these have been recovered from a very old garden and are not in mind, commercial nursery condition. What I mean by this is that each plant will reflect what is has been exposed to outdoors in a tropical garden, which may mean some markings, a touch of sun burn here and there or freckling due to heavy rain or hail. Some have cracks in the leaf blade itself. If you want a perfect, instagram worthy plant, these specimens are not for you.

Each plant measures approx 20cm in height from soil level.

This was my first ever plant in the mail and it was perfect, so surprised at how healthy the roots were! I will definitely buy from Jo again! (already have another plant in the mail) :)

Great service

Great service. Express post took far too long and one plant was not well and broken. They are happily replacing it. Great full!

Fin

I love my Fin, but, it doesnt look much like a 'traditional' Whales Fin. I know she is gorgeous as are all my plant babies. She is tall, thin and curled over it is easily mistaken for another type of Snake Plant. Don't get me wrong, it says in the description that they have some marks etc AND I still love her, but to say I wasn't a little disappointed would be a lie. I also asked for it to be posted on Monday due to my location and they posted on a Thursday meaning it sat over the weekend in postal (not mad though as this plant is hearty, but would have been annoyed if it was any other plant). Still happy with the service and will buy from HHP again.
