Anthurium vittarifolium | belt leaf anthurium

$95.00

Quantity

 PERMITTED INTO WA!

The definitive strap or belt -leaf Anthurium vittarifolium, is native to Columbia. In the wild, it grows deep in the humid rainforests, on the thin layer of forest soil or in cavities between branches of trees, with long aerial roots and the round, compact core, more leaves are collected in the cavities from which the Anthurium again benefits.

This plant grows pendant, with leaves that can easily reach over a metre long (in their native habitat) and yet barely 5cm in width. The combination of the special red inflorescence and the beautiful pink berries that almost look like gum balls make Anthurium vittarifolium a very unique plant.

Each plant measures approx 20cm in width and 15cm in height from soil level.
