Home Philodendron tortum
This gorgeous fine leaf member of the Philodendron family is also known as the skeleton key plant. Originating from Colombia and Brazil, Philodendron tortum is a multi-stemmed, epiphytic vine that sprawls across the ground or may grow as a climber. Its evergreen foliage has a moderately glossy sheen.
It prefers well-drained soil, liquid feed during the warmer months or apply a slow release fertiliser at the beginning of Spring. Ensure the plant is positioned in bright, indirect light to maintain a healthy habit. PLEASE HOWEVER WHAT YOU DO, DO NOT LET THIS ONE GET COLD, it will die!
Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep soil moist but not wet.
Each plant measures approx 10cm in height from soil level and 12cm in width.
For WA, NT and Tas customers, an additional fee of $10 per order is applicable due to the requirements associated with quarantine compliance, including chemical treatment.
